A little bit about me:
I was born and raised in Africa, enjoying an active outdoor lifestyle and developing a deep appreciation for nature, health and wholesome food. I came to the UK in 1998 with my husband and after many years in office-based jobs I finally decided to follow my lifetime passion for nutrition and natural health and trained as a naturopathic nutritional therapist at The College of Naturopathic Medicine in central London.
I had struggled most of my life with weight issues despite being very active, and then later with fertility problems. It has been a rocky road working through the physical and emotional aspects of each but I feel I have now reached a place of wellbeing and peace. My personal experience has given me a deep empathy for others struggling with their health, and I find this, along with my ever-growing learning and understanding of natural health and the human body is a powerful resource with which I hope to help many overcome their health challenges too.
I am a keen gardener, ‘allotmenteer’, artist and photographer and I volunteer as a sound engineer at KingsGate Church in Kingston where we are also actively involved on the ministry team.
Nutritional Therapy – Healthy eating, fertility, preconception, pregnancy, breastfeeding, gastrointestinal health, food intolerances, liver function.
Weight Control – Obesity, overweight, cravings, metabolic syndrome, hormonal balance.
I believe in a naturopathic approach to health which to me means growing, preparing and consuming foods in the way that God intended for us and as close to its original state as possible. The quality and purity of our food is crucial to it being the right fuel and medicine for our bodies and sustainability is important for the longevity of our food and environment.
