A little bit about me:
After 20 years in radio and voiceover, I added food policy to my credentials in 2012. As the director of childhood nutrition, I researched, created, and successfully implemented programs within local schools to bring all children access to healthier foods. My passion for optimal health, nutrition, and helping others culminated in the commencement of a health and wellness blog, Primal Balance, and the completion of a certificate in nutritional therapy from Nutritional Therapy Association. I am the mother of four daughters, the host of the Born Primal Show, and co-host of the Evolved Recovery Show. My work is centered on recovering from perfectionism, letting go of control and shame, finding balance, and creating a peaceful life. My specialty is teaching holistic sobriety to those recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction.
I believe we can live healthier and happier lives by adapting principles from our hunter-gatherer ancestors into our modern day lives. My practice is dedicated to helping people live a holistic life that encompasses healthy eating practices, lifestyle, mindfulness, and empowerment. In addition to nutrition, I teach about the importance of digestion play, fitness, sleep, stress management, and mindfulness.
