I had the wonderful opportunity recently to be interviewed on Women’s Wellness Radio hosted by Bridgit Danner, LAc. We had such a great conversation all about gut health.
In this interview I share helpful diet tips, supplement suggestions, and essential oil recommendations for healing and restoring your digestive health. We also discuss the importance of stress management and the strong connection between stress and digestive disorders.
If you or someone you know is struggling with chronic digestive issues, such as IBS, IBD, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, or abdominal pain, then you will love this podcast.
You’ll discover how to eat better and take care of your gut. We discuss several different gut-healing diets and how to choose the right one for you. We also talk about how you can use these diets as a guideline in a way that’s not too stressful and overwhelming.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is listen to your body. It is sometimes best to give your gut a break by temporarily cutting out some of the foods that might be worsening symptoms and causing inflammation. Once your gut starts to heal and recover, then you can begin adding foods back in. The ultimate goal is to find the most diverse diet that you can tolerate.
Throughout the interview, I share recommendations for some of my favorite books on different gut-healing protocols. We also discuss self care activities to engage in, essential oils for digestive support, and supplements that aid in digestion.
