It makes me crazy when people eat egg white omelets in an effort to be healthy. I urge you to eat whole eggs often and cook them with grass fed butter or coconut oil. Starting your day with whole eggs will help regulate your blood sugar so you likely eat less throughout the day. Eating eggs anytime of day can assist people in losing weight because eggs are an easy way to get satisfying protein and healthy fats into the diet.   1. Egg yolks are a good source of the essential mineral chromium which helps to maintain proper blood sugar levels, lower body weight, increase lean body mass, reduce triglycerides and cholesterol.   • Great article. My husband and I have been eating eggs for breakfast (cooked in a combination of coconut oil and grass fed butter) every morning for a couple of years. We have seen triglyceride numbers plummet during that time and HDL rise significantly. Best of all we feel great and experience no mid-morning hunger.

    It goes to say that there is a big difference between eggs from mass market brands, and local pastured eggs. I get mine from a farmers market. Can you show some specific side by side comparisons please. I have family that still buys Egglands Best and think they are the best the supermarket has to offer. Thanks so much!
