Anne Angelone, Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, was born in New York where she studied nutrition, psychology, eastern philosophy and Chinese language at Cornell University. After graduating in 1988, she continued studying Mandarin in Taiwan where she received her first Acupuncture treatments and introduction to Chinese Medicine. Intrigued by this intelligent model of medicine, Anne received a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and her license to practice in 1993.
With 20 years in the field of integrative medicine, Anne has complimented her Chinese Medicine practice with Functional Medicine, Nutrigenomics and Paleo Nutrition. Functional Medicine treats the root causes of disease as does Chinese Medicine. Nutrigenomics is the science of how food speaks to your genes and Paleo nutrition offers the best template for reversing and preventing chronic disease.
At her clinic in San Francisco where she now resides, Anne applies acupuncture treatment plus herbal and nutritional protocols to start reversing chronic symptoms. The results help patient believe in their health and themselves during their quest for personal excellence.
Anne facilitates exciting nutrition classes like The 30 Day Autoimmune Paleo Challenge at her clinic in San Francisco, CA.

Primal Docs was created in 2011 by Chris Armstrong. Chris was also responsible for the creation of the Celiac Handbook Website back in 2004 and is a tireless advocate for any and all things gluten-free (and grain-free).
As a natural progression of his gluten-free lifestyle, he finally decided to take the plunge into a primal/paleo lifestyle and cut out all grains, legumes, refined sugar, and processed seed oils. Both the physical and emotional benefits of this way of life were noticeable very quickly and any desire to go back to his old way of life were eliminated almost immediately.
